WayStation MCP Server is a universal remote MCP server hosted at waystation.ai that connects Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, and any MCP host with productivity tools such as Notion, Monday, Airtable, Jira, Slack, and Google Drive through a no-code, secure integration hub. The original local server is deprecated in favor of the remote endpoint at https://waystation.ai/mcp, which supports Streamable HTTPS and SSE transports with transport negotiation and authorization, plus preauthenticated individual endpoints available from the user dashboard. App connections generally use OAuth2 authentication flows.

Setup

No local install required. Register at https://waystation.ai/dashboard, connect your apps, and get your unique MCP URL from the dashboard. For Claude: go to Settings → Integrations, click Add Integration, and enter 'WayStation' as the Server Name with your unique MCP URL. For Cline: open the MCP Server screen, Remote Servers tab, and enter the name and URL. For Cursor: add a new global MCP server in Settings → MCP and add {"WayStation": {"url": "https://waystation.ai/mcp/<user_unique_id>"}} to mcp..

Fit and risk

Best for

  • Users who want Notion, Monday, Airtable, Jira, Slack, and similar tools inside MCP hosts like Claude, Cursor, Cline, or WindSurf
  • No-code users who prefer not to install and maintain a local server
  • Teams wanting a single hub for multiple productivity integrations

Not for

  • Users who need a local stdio server (the local version is deprecated)
  • Apps not among the supported providers and not covered by an integration request
  • Security-sensitive environments unwilling to delegate credentials to a third-party cloud hub

Required permissions

  • OAuth2-style account access authorization to supported apps such as Notion, Monday, Airtable, Jira, Slack, Google Drive, Office 365, Miro, Intercom, and PayPal

Risks and side effects

  • Credentials and data pass through the WayStation cloud service, a third-party hosted platform
  • OAuth2 scopes per app may be broad; connect with least privilege
  • Granting cloud access to work accounts requires evaluating compliance and data residency requirements

Troubleshooting

  1. Verify you are using the unique MCP URL assigned in your dashboard
  2. Confirm the relevant app is connected via OAuth2 in the dashboard
  3. Ensure your client supports Streamable HTTPS or SSE remote transports, or use the MCP-remote STDIO proxy
  4. Check that the default endpoint https://waystation.ai/mcp completes transport negotiation and authorization
  5. Contact [email protected] for integration requests and help
